Escape the Irritation and Misery of Allergies
Hay fever symptoms such as runny/stuffy nose, sinus pain and
pressure, headaches, sneezing, itching and watery eyes, sore throat, and chronic cough can make it difficult to enjoy life and can predispose
a person to more serious conditions. Fortunately, relief is readily available in our clinic with specific immunotherapy based on titration
skin testing.

The purpose of the skin testing is to determine the precise degree of sensitivity to each antigen so that the dose for each antigen in the treatment vaccine can be accurately calculated and the proper proportion of each antigen included. Thus, as the vaccine dose is increased, we are able to avoid over-treating with one antigen before reaching the therapeutic dose of another.

With this approach we can routinely reach the full dose in five weeks. Then the weekly injections usually may be administered at home by the patient or a family member. After one year some patients can discontinue the treatment, but most require longer to sufficiently reduce their sensitivity.
